Yesterday was the best leg workout I’ve had in months! No exaggeration. It felt so good, the pump was insane and I didn’t even get to squat…well sort of.
The gym I’m currently going to doesn’t have a squat rack, so I had to improvise and do squats on the smith machine with a bench. High reps, low rest and with a pause at the bottom but not sitting entirely on the bench. My thighs were screaming last night lol. It also helped that I added Bulgarian split squats using dumb bells before I squat as well, those really get the blood flowing.
All of this necessary just to alleviate my thigh injury. I can squat pain free this way, haven’t been able to since October unfortunately. Looking forward to leg days now at this spot!
